Built more than 700 years ago by the knights of Chasteigner de la Roche-Posay, this fairytale castle constitutes an idyllic refuge imbued with serenity, dedicated to the art of living of yesterday and today. In the middle of tranquil ponds which gave it its name, the Domaine des Etangs and its picturesque farms overlook rolling hills and green meadows in which our most beautiful Limousin cows graze. The food served at the Domaine comes directly from its gardens. Art and nature form a balance symbolized by the emblem of this place, the dragonfly.

How to get here?

The estate is located 40 - 45 minutes by car from Angoulême-Cognac and Limoges-Bellegarde airports, and helicopter transfers can be easily arranged.
