Our Founders
David Sumich
Managing Director in
David built the International Express Travel Group from a Sydney based local travel agency in Australia in 1999 to a national travel management company. Clients included Apple, Bosch and BG Group. In 2007, he sold the company to BCD Travel, the worldβs 3rd largest Travel Management Company. David has since owned a digital marketing company in Australia, that specialised in the tourism market and brings that experience to National Travel. David is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce.

With over two decades of experience in delivering marketing and technology solutions, Maite has honed a deep understanding of the intricate challenges associated with these processes. Maite has implemented major travel systems across the Asia Pacific and possesses extensive travel technology and operational experience with a global TMC. Recently, Maite was shortlisted for the prestigious 2023 Women in Travel Entrepreneur of the Year award, highlighting her leadership and innovative contributions to the travel industry.
